History in the making...

newmont232

Newmont Engineering was founded in the 1950s by Charles Newson at the Nodis Works in Ealing, West London; a site the company occupies to this day.

The location in Julien Road is interesting in itself, having been a depot for the haulage company, Carter Paterson & Co. Ltd. during the late 19th century.

During the first half of the 20th Century it was the home of the Nodis Rapid Caster from which the site gets its name.

During the sixties, Newmont started to concentrate on precision components, such as gears then, in the seventies, won a prestigious contract to make the stabilisation platform for the Exocet missile. This project has led to the substantial turnover we enjoy in the Civil Aviation sector today.

Newmont Engineering is still independently owned by the Newson family and challenging precision work continues to be what we do best.
