Manufacturing: making the grade
CAM (Computer Aided Manufacture)
From popular CAD drawing formats (e.g. IGES, DWG, DXF) we use Alphacam to generate our CNC milling programs. We can also work to print or PDF files.
Gear Cutting
There are myriad types and configurations in this category, some of which are not classed as gears at all. A hint of our vast experience in this area can be found here. Show list
Thread Cutting
Newmont make threads in many ways to both current and legacy standards. Common forms and types are listed here. Show list
Complex Components
Newmont have the capability to make intricate components which require greater accuracy or more specialised plant than the average sub-contractor can offer. Such parts often require multiple machine processes and by retaining them in house, we are better placed to control planning, quality and progress.
